Countdown to Kickoff: 60 Days

As we continue on our daily countdown towards the 2007 season, we are now at 60. Wearing jersey #60 this season for the Trojans is senior offensive lineman Drew Radovich...

The 6'5" 305 lbs redshirt senior returns for his 2nd year as a starter along the offensive line. However, he will be adusting to a new position as the departures of seniors RT Kyle Williams and C Ryan Kalil, coupled with the return of Matt Spanos (ineligible) and Jeff Byers (injured) prompted Coach Carroll to shuffle some players around in order to get the best five on the field. After starting at left guard last season, Radovich is making the switch to right tackle. We'll see how well he can block the quicker pass rushers on the edge after blocking bigger, slower bodies on the interior line. It seems that a lot of Booty's tipped passes last year came on the left side where Radovich was playing so we'll see how he fares. There's no substitute for experience though.

Fight On!

I think this is a ludicrous post(at best). Radovich is fast and possesses experience-two keys to what are needed to contain the so called faster defenses on the "outside."

SoCal is fortunate to have a player as smart as Radovich too, that is capable of learning plays from the other side combined with athleticism, ability to move and react, and of course experience.

Rest peaceful Trojan hordes, the right tackle spot will be fine!
