Countdown to Kickoff: 41 Days

As we continue on our daily countdown towards the 2007 season, we have arrived at 41. Wearing #41 for the Cardinal and Gold this season is senior linebacker Thomas Williams.

T-Will is one of the most experienced and versatile players on the team. He can play all 3 linebacker positions (Middle, Strong, Weak), is a key member of the special teams units, and has even played some fullback. Williams capped off a great spring with an impressive performance in the Trojan Huddle spring game. When Brian Cushing sat for most of the spring with injuries, Williams showed that he can step in at any time and the defense will not miss a beat. At 6'3" 235 lbs., Thomas is an imposing player, and is a punishing tackler who loves contact. He plays with great energy and emotion, and without question, is one of the team's emotional leaders. I love the face paint he uses too, you know that stuff intimidates the hell out of the opposition. Thomas Williams is one of my favorite players on the team and I am very much looking forward to seeing this guy perform this season.
