UC Los Angeles

The fans over at the Los Angeles branch of the University of California are so hypocritical its comical. It's amusing to me how they trash Pete Carroll and Tim Floyd. They trash PC saying he "lacks control" over his players and turns a blind eye on NCAA violations . And now they are accusing Floyd of "buying" players. Excuse me while I scroll through the pages of history... Fucla's athletic department's single claim to fame are the 10 basketball championships won decades ago under their beloved Coach John Wooden .

Bruin fans love Coach Wooden and they love for people to believe that he ran a clean program, setting the standard for "classy" programs. However, this scumbag is guilty of all the things that bruin fans accuse Carroll and Floyd of. It's a well known fact that a certain bruin booster by the name of Sam Gilbert was extremely "friendly" with his fortune when it came to the bruin basketball program. Papa Sam helped recruit purchase the nation's best players while Wooden simply looked the other way. I think we're going to have to add a second asterisk on the bruin's 100* national championships to account for their tainted basketball championships.

Fuck the Bruins!

Fight On!

Ofcourse it went on, but no one seems to care about any of it. All everyone talks about is how great of a coach he is, while the Bruins continue to trash one of the best college football coaches of all time in Pete Carroll. I was kinda curious, but how many BCS bowls has UCLA been to? Just wanted to throw that out there.

I don't think we will ever know the whole story about Gilbert, as he died before anyone could really press him on all of the allegations.

His known involvement in drugs and money laundering to me are far more serious, but because he was able to cover his tracks in a crime far more serious he was also able to do it with his underhanded dealings at ucla.

As far as the crew from across town goes they are selective in their distorted thought process. They will have you believe that because there is no "proof" or arrests of any Gilbert crimes that they didn't happen. On the flip side ANY speculation of a USC player doing anything wrong regardless proof is automatically taken as fact.

Like i said distorted.
