Countdown to Kickoff: 88 Days
Representing 88 on our countdown is former USC quarterback Rodney Peete. In 1988 Peete became the first USC quarterback to win the Johnny Unitas Award, awarded to the nation's best senior quarterback. Peete led USC to two consecutive Rose Bowl appearances and two consecutive victories over fucla. Rodney can now be seen nightly on Fox Sports' Best Damn Sports Show Period.
