Countdown to Kickoff: 94 Days

Here's a pretty familiar sight...a USC defender pounding on an fucla QB. For our #94 on our countdown, I present to you DE Kenechi Udeze, the Minnesota Vikings' 1st Round pick in 2004.

As an SC fan, I just want to make sure that everyone realizes that our Trojans got beat by 2 Fucla quarterbacks last year (Matt "the Rat" Moore and Patrick "Pimple Face" Cowan). Please spread the word that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

For starters, Matt Moore was actually a senior on that 2005 team that got wrecked 66-19 at the Coliseum.

Second, even though fucla got us last year, our Trojan defense held its own. The bruins only managed 13 points and were kept out of the end zone following their long 1st Quarter touchdown drive.

I know PC will be looking for some revenge, and our DEs Lo-Jack, Kyle Moore, and incoming freshman Everson Griffen, as well as our DTs Sedrick Ellis and Fili Moala will be ready to tee off on whichever QB (Olsen or Cowan) takes the field that day.

Evan4sc is correct in his observation, however any football player that cant hack it at fucla's joke of a program isn't worth us discussing...

Matt Moore was actually a good quarterback. Too good for UCLA, which was why he transferred. But I beleive that Ken Norton himself will be ready to tee off on the next UCLA quarterback, after seeing that chump Walker outcoach the outcoachable Lane Kiffin. It will be a blood bath.

oh, that Matt Moore, for some reason I confused him with Drew Olsen...nevertheless...beware of the 2007 Trojan Defense

Matt Moore plays for Oregon St. and has for two years. It was just 2 star Pat Cowan that beat your 5 stars players last year. How did that happen anyway? I'll tell you. The seeds of that crushing loss were sown the prior year when Pete Carroll broke a cardinal rule of sports... you don't disrespect an opponent. The UCLA players remembered for an entire year how Pete had the first string offense in the game up 45 points in the four quarter. It was the worst display of sportsmanship that I have seen in 35 years of watching college sports. One year later he paid for that arrogance. It cost him a shot at a national championship.

Actually, it was UCLA's speedy defensive ends that kept our offense off balance that cost us a national championship shot. That along with Lane Kiffin's predictable play calling. I have never seen fans celebrate a 4 point victory that much in the history of sports. Especially a team that one month later got crushed in the NutJob Bowl. The UCLA program made a big mistake and Pete Carroll will make that institution pay on December 1st. No one is more competitive than our coach. 66-19 will be the halftime score. I guarantee it.
