Nick Young Update

The NBA draft is less than four days away and every major sports magazine/newspaper/website is predicting that Nick Young will be a top 20 pick. The majority have Young going in the top 15, however there are some sports analyst predicting that Young may crack into the top 10. Two of the most popular online mock drafts, provided by NBADraft.net and DraftExpress.com, are predicting that Nick Young will be drafted at #13 to the New Orleans Hornets. If Young was to join the Hornets he would team up with the 2005-2006 NBA Rookie of the Year, Chris Paul.

This would be great for Young, playing alongside such a talented young point guard, and the New Orleans Hornets. The last time the Hornets made a trip to the playoffs was back in 2004 when Tim Floyd was the head coach. In this article by the The Times- Picayune,Tourney Tim discusses what his team was lacking back in 04' and how he thinks Young can contribute to the current Hornets team...
"It was apparent to me that a very important part of playoff basketball was the ability to create a shot, because teams know your (system)," said Floyd, who now coaches Southern Cal. "At some point, you've got to be able to put the ball on the floor and make a play. And Nick can certainly do that."
The NBA Draft is this Thursday, June 28th, and airs live on ESPN at 7:00 pm ET

We wish the best of luck to Nick Young, Gabe Pruitt and their families

FIGHT ON!

Its no question Young goes lottery-style on Thursday. The question is....does Arron AWFUL-O go late 2nd round or to the NBDL?
