Donte Smith Commits to USC

USC landed the top junior college point guard in Donte Smith this past weekend, as some of you may have seen over at USChoops. Smith, from Mt. San Antonio College, spent this past weekend at USC's Elite Camp. The 6'0" 180 lb point guard averaged 18.4 points per game as a senior at Diamond Ranch High School in 2006. The talented guard also averaged 3.2 steals per game, 4.2 assist per game, and shot 58% from 3-point range. Smith will likely spend another season at Mt. Sac before enrolling at USC in 2008, making him the 4th commit for the class of 2008.

I am Jimmy's sis & my son Giordon Ford has been dedicated to only get A's & B's at Etiwanda High School but now from his recent exposure & your example of an elite role model (Fearless to be the BEST, something his big brothers did not show him) so he truly believes that there is no other option but USC.

Thanks & I still want you to wupp on Jimmy's nephew Edgar so he can stop talking that trash and stay in the GYM to keep working on his game.

Thanks again for the experience
